The Service

Chou Chou Teach is a classroom points and tools app for teachers. Accounts are for teachers; students do not have accounts.

Your account

You sign in with Google and are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your login secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract and be using the Service in a professional capacity as an educator.

Student information

You agree to enter only the minimal student information the Service asks for (a first name or nickname and an avatar) and to do so in accordance with your school's policies and applicable law. You represent that you are permitted to enter this information for classroom use.

Subscriptions & billing

• The Service costs $3 per month or $30 per year after a 7-day free trial.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• You can cancel anytime from your account; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for partial periods.
• We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity, no attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, and no use that violates others' rights.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, artwork, and content, belongs to Chou Chou Teach. We grant you a limited, non-transferable right to use the Service for your classroom while your account is in good standing.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chou Chou Teach will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
